About our company:
Established in 1970 by Dale Pearce, Dale had twenty years experience in floor covering installation, sales and management prior to opening The Carpet Shoppe. The business grew and quickly became one of the larger stores in the area. The Carpet Shoppe is now the largest floor covering store in southwest Missouri. Over the years the company added additional types of floor covering and now in addition to carpet, sells and installs vinyl flooring, plastic laminates, factory finished hardwood floors and ceramic, porcelain and natural stone floors. We have a large showroom and warehouse at our convenient Seminole at Glenstone location, just one-quarter mile north of the Battlefield Mall.

What we do:

Retail Sales: After being in business since 1970 we have thousands of satisfied customers who have trusted us to provide new floor covering for their homes. Our largest source of business is repeat customers and the referrals they give us to their friends, neighbors and family. We understand that our customers want to make their homes beautiful and we treat each job from a small bath to an entire home remodel with care.

Builder Sales:
When the business started in 1970, selling the new home building market was the main business plan. Today, that is still a very large portion of our business. We provide floor covering for many new home builders; from small entry level homes to very large custom homes and everything in between. We understand the service that professional home builders need. We can provide many references from our builder customers for our quality of service.

Commercial Sales:
We also pursue large commercial projects and have provided the flooring for a wide range of projects. We have the experience and expertise to manage large projects such as classroom and dormitory buildings at the local universities; theaters and hotels in Branson, to smaller offices for business’ and professionals. We also provide economical floor covering for rental and apartment owners and managers. Many general contractors and property managers would gladly give references.

About our people:
Our senior management and sales staff have dozens of year’s experience and have gained a wide range of knowledge involving products, design expertise, accurate job estimating, installation knowledge and problem solving. All new sales staff have extensive training in products, estimating and installation. We also have computerized job estimating systems to maximize job accuracy.

We only contract with knowledgeable, experienced, professional floor covering installers. Many are nationally certified and all work is guaranteed by The Carpet Shoppe. Many of our installers have provided their services to us for twenty-five years or more. We have a reputation in the community for quality work and taking care of problems when they occur.
